2. Agreement Scope
These Terms govern your access to and use of Dicta software, appdicta.com, and related billing, account, and support services.
By purchasing, activating, or using Dicta, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
3. Eligibility and Account Security
- You must have legal capacity to enter into a contract.
- You are responsible for keeping access to your email/account secure.
- You must provide accurate billing and account information.
4. Plans, Trial, and Billing
- Monthly / Yearly: recurring subscriptions that renew automatically until canceled.
- Trial: currently 7 days for eligible recurring plans. Eligibility can be limited to one trial per customer.
Plan pricing, currencies, and availability are shown at checkout and may change prospectively.
Legacy one-time purchases made before plan changes, if any, continue to be honored under these Terms.
5. Auto-Renewal and Cancellation
Recurring subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled beforehand. You can manage or cancel recurring plans in the billing portal linked from your account page.
Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
6. Refunds and Consumer Withdrawal Rights
Refund handling is described in our Refund Policy.
For EU consumers, statutory withdrawal and conformity rights apply where mandatory by law, including rights under consumer and digital content legislation.
If immediate digital access is provided, you request immediate performance and acknowledge that, where legally valid, this may affect the right of withdrawal after full performance begins.
7. License Grant
Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Dicta.
- Up to 3 active devices per account.
- No resale, sublicensing, or unauthorized distribution.
- No reverse engineering except where mandatory law permits it.
8. Acceptable Use
You may not use Dicta to:
- violate laws or third-party rights,
- attempt unauthorized access, abuse, or service disruption,
- bypass technical or licensing restrictions.
9. Updates, Availability, and Third Parties
We may release updates, bug fixes, and improvements. Some features depend on third-party providers (for example payment, email, and hosting infrastructure).
We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation at all times.
10. Intellectual Property
Dicta, including software, branding, and documentation, is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license above, no rights are transferred to you.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, fraud, abuse, or non-payment. You may stop using Dicta at any time.
Sections that by nature should survive termination (for example payment obligations, IP, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive.
12. Warranties and Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dicta is provided as is and as available. We disclaim warranties not expressly stated in these Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, or data.
Our aggregate liability for claims related to the service is limited to amounts paid by you to us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by applicable law.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by Polish law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply in your country of residence.
Courts in Poland have jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect legal, technical, or business changes. Material updates become effective after publication on this page, and where appropriate we may provide additional notice.
