## What Dicta Does

Dicta turns voice into text on your Mac. Press Option+Space, speak, press Escape — the transcribed text appears at your cursor in any app. All processing happens locally using Apple's Neural Engine (Apple Silicon) or CPU (Intel). No cloud, no internet required, no telemetry.
